The pool pump at Hotel Mocking Bird Hill is now solar

The installation of a solar powered pool pump was completed today. This is the first step (apart from the solar powered garden lighting) towards improving environmental performance at Hotel Mocking Bird Hill. The plan is to convert individual aspects of the operation to solar power on a phased basis. This will help to reduce our carbon footprint and lessen our electricity costs.
